Reclamere CEO to Present at Pittsburgh ISACA

TYRONE, PA – November 12, 2013 – Reclamere CEO Angie Singer Keating, CISA, CIPP, CISM, CRISC, will be presenting at this years 2013 Pittsburgh ISACA Information Technology Audit & Control Conference.

“HIPAA used to be something that only healthcare providers and patients really were concerned about,” explained Angie. “With the September passing of the Final Omnibus Rule for HIPAA, all organizations that process, store, transmit, or analyze patient health information must comply with the same strict Privacy, Security, and Data Breach Notification Rules requirements as the healthcare providers themselves. And under revisions to HIPAA, healthcare providers must also do proper due diligence on their vendors to validate compliance or terminate the Business Associates’ contracts.”

Attendees who are part of healthcare organizations will learn how to make sure your Business Associates are compliant. Attendees who are Business Associates that provide services to healthcare clients will learn how to assess their organization against the HIPAA Security Rule. All attendees will be provided a free HIPAA Security Rule Self-Assessment.
