National Security and Industry Experts to Speak at Cyber Risk Summit Bermuda
PHILADELPHIA, February 26, 2019 – NetDiligence®, a leading provider of cyber risk readiness and response services, today announced the keynote speakers for Cyber Risk Summit Bermuda. NetDiligence hosts Cyber Risk Summits in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. This is the first year the company has brought its acclaimed programming to Bermuda, “The World’s Risk Capital.”
AXA XL, the P&C and specialty risk division of AXA, is the lead sponsor of the inaugural event.
The opening keynote will be presented by The Honorable Wayne Caines, Bermuda Minister of National Security. A former captain in the Royal Bermuda Regiment, Minister Caines served as a crown counsel at Bermuda’s Department of Public Prosecutions, as chief of staff in the Office of the Premier, and as a Progressive Labour Party (PLP) senator with responsibilities as the junior minister of tourism, transport, environment and sport. He was the former CEO of Digicel Bermuda, and also the founder and former CEO of SENIAC Consulting, a telecommunications and organizational consulting firm.
Laura Galante, a leading voice and trusted authority on state-sponsored cyber threats, will be giving the lunch keynote address. Ms. Galante previously served as Director of Global Intelligence at FireEye, where her teams investigated network activity, profiled advanced threats, and communicated the political, military, and financial implications of cyber operations. A founding member of Mandiant Intelligence, her work has involved leading strategic analysis, developing intelligence capabilities and offerings, and directing intelligence publications.
