Surf Lessons (with Breakfast on the Beach)

Lyra Recovery is pleased to announce the return of the ever-popular Surf Event to NetDiligence San Diego this year. For those of you who have participated in the past, the very patient and knowledgeable Santa Monica Surf School instructors are going to make the drive south. Lessons begin at 9:00AM and 10:30AM.

Lessons are at the beach directly across from the end of Coronado Bay Rd., right by the bathrooms for convenience. There is a pedestrian tunnel just to the north so you don’t have to walk across the highway. Once we are on-site, we will email again with more complete directions.

This event is run in partnership with our friends at Booz Allen, who will be providing a breakfast food truck on the beach. So please come out if you want to learn how to surf (or try again), or if you just want to have breakfast on the beach and watch your fellow cyber folks enjoy a morning on the water.

Join us for Breakfast on the Beach! Booz Allen will sponsoring a food truck for participants and observers of the Lyra Recovery Surf Lessons.

Grab a bite between runs, or just sit back and enjoy watching your fellow cyber folks enjoy a morning on the water.

Meals on Wheels "We Care" Bags

Please join us, for any duration of time that works with your schedule, to assemble "We Care" bags for Meals on Wheels. "We Care" bags are small gift bags filled with useful and fun items and are given to seniors new to Meals on Wheels, to brighten their day, or to celebrate a special occasion.

Cards and Care Packs: Supporting Orphans in Ensenada

Because of partners like you, children in Ensenada, Mexico, receive food, clothing, an education, and a loving environment in which to grow up.

Join us in writing personalized cards and packing kits to bring hope and happiness to the children at Pequenos H. Un Proyecto de Vida orphanage. Refreshments provided. Items will be delivered immediately following the conference.

No RSVP is required. Drop in hours 10:00AM - 11:30AM.
