Because ransomware represents a costly business interruption and data breach liability to both insurers and their policyholders, NetDiligence created the Ransomware Advisory Board to better educate the industry as well as to:
- Serve as a sounding board for incident response peers to share their experiences, including any lessons learned or ongoing challenges with specific threats
- Learn about the evolving ransomware landscape in real time from the world’s most prominent cyber forensics and data breach remediation firms
- Gain the benefit of board members’ collective remediation experience regarding what organizations can do to help prevent, prepare for, and respond to cyber threats
- Gather newly acquired sector intelligence from the board to help educate and inform our cyber insurance partners
- Help the cyber insurance community to further develop policy coverage strategies and tactical policyholder due diligence requirements so they can make cost-effective, ransomware-specific cyber insurance products available to their policyholders
The senior managers and subject matter experts who participate as members of the Ransomware Advisory Board freely contribute their time and resources to help us bring timely and useful ransomware information to the greater cyber community. The opinions shared in this board do not represent positions of their organizations unless explicitly stated.
